About the coordinator:
Interactive murder mysteries. Corporate history books. Environmental journalism. Editing. Writing. Creative storytelling. In just seven years, Alchemy for Writers coordinator Michael Timm has worn a number of hats as a freelance writer. He edited the Bay View Compass newspaper until February 2012 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at UW-Milwaukee’s School of Freshwater Science with an interest in science communication. Passionate about engaging audiences, he has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and English from Ripon College and has benefited from creative writing courses at UW-Madison and the University of Oxford.
